Known the Power of Social Media

During the past two years, we have noticed a significant shift in the way brands use social media to promote their products. Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube, there are so many platforms with a massive number of creators. The rise of social media continues – we reached over 3.7 billion social media users globally in 2021 – and brands know they won’t be able to ignore their massive social media audiences next year.

Not just brands but users are also trying to build their audience. They are using social media to explore opportunities- following trends, creating content, and finding ways to earn through social media. Since we’ve so many established creators, also with the upcoming ones the competition is only going to be tougher here. But that doesn’t mean one can’t start their own business on social platforms. With consistency, there are certain tricks that these people follow and build their brand.

So, what are those tricks? How can we dominate social media? To answer your curiosity, we’re here with a few obvious and not-so-obvious tips. Keep an eye on these points if you are planning to take over social media and build your brand in 2022.

    1. Reel is the real Instagram strategy

    Facebook Instagram reel

Whenever we think of dominating social media, we know that we need to follow the trend. But it is also important to remember that without making your content align with your marketing goals, you will only end up chasing trends. Instagram being the biggest platform for any creator always comes up with trends.

Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri recently said the platform is moving into a paradigm shift where users are requesting more entertaining video content. To effectively market on the platform in 2022, businesses must adopt this shift immediately. Video must now be a core component of your strategy-but just shooting a video and posting it is not enough. Your videos should have a purpose and message behind them. Make your videos relatable and connect with your audience. People tend to share relatable videos.

As we approach 2022, you might find that if your organic videos and reels perform well and generate good engagement, you can turn them into an ad by simply downloading the reel from your Instagram account and uploading it. Using this tactic, you can reach new people and build up your warm audience, which can then be retargeted or leveraged for similar audiences.

    2. Using Facebook Ads Is Efficient

Do you feel that something unusual is happening with a lot of the on-platform Facebook ads (such as lead generation ads and Messenger ads)? Facebook has done some fancy footwork with the pixel debacle to make some of its more straightforward products more effective than ever. Let’s hope the trend continues! Furthermore, I see—as we all do—that 2022 is going to usher in an era where attention spans will be even shorter. If you want to win, think short.

You must create videos that are easy to digest, highly informative, and entertaining. Some may mock the popularity of features like Reels and platforms like TikTok but make no mistake, short-form, educational, and entertaining video is the future.

    3. Organic videos helps you connect with the audience

While Instagram was originally a photo app, today video is a major component of social media marketing if you aim to increase your business’s bottom line through your efforts on social media.
Almost every social media has a short videos option. Those who know how to use the features of an app are doing well in their respective social media platforms.

You can build trust in your audience through reels, stories, igtvs, or Insta live. But how? By being unique and vulnerable. We know social media is a place where people are likely to fake. It’s a place that doesn’t show reality. But if you want to grow in social media, you have to earn the trust of your target audience.

Interact with your audience often. Ask them questions, tell them to ask you questions. With Instagram Live, up to three guests can join you and add value to the conversation you’re having. In addition, the audience members they follow will get notified that the person they follow is live, which brings in new viewers to your broadcast. In 2022, I would like you to connect with your audience at an emotional level. As people are now craving intimacy more than ever on social media.

    4. Growing Ecommerce on TikTok causes trends to last shorter

By the spring of 2022, TikTok is expected to reach 1.5 billion users, establishing itself as a cultural phenomenon in social media and entertainment. Marketers should watch for four key developments in 2022 which will offer more monetization opportunities.

First, live streaming will continue to grow in popularity and TikTok will support and promote live streaming as a growth and nurture strategy. The second development is that TikTok has established itself as a viable competitor in the social commerce space. More in-app shopping capabilities are expected. The third key factor for video performance and community building for small businesses is authenticity, personality, and relatability. Humanizing your brand will help you set yourself up for success. Lastly, the user-generated content demand will increase as more brands gravitate to the app. To support brands, TikTok will continue to offer tools and programs designed to help them find and engage users who can create user-generated content that feels dynamic.

So these were some tips for you that we hope you would try for social media dominance. Also, remember to be creative and unique. As creativity sells and uniqueness makes you stand out of the crowd. Good luck!
