    We’ve all heard that business is a man’s world. However, if we look at history and present times, we can see that women have played and continue to play an important role in society. Even some businesswomen outperformed their male counterparts. Today, women are working in a variety of fields, including the media, politics, business, and technology, as well as acting and sports. So, today, I’m going to talk about some of the world’s most powerful and successful female entrepreneurs who have revolutionized society’s perception of what women can and cannot achieve.

    She is the CEO of YouTube, a Polish-American company with over 2 billion monthly subscribers. According to Forbes, fought for a $1.65 billion YouTube lawsuit in 2006. She has been the CEO of YouTube since 2014. As per the recent estimation, the company’s net value is 90 billion dollars. She had worked as a management consultant at Intel before joining Google. In 2019, Forbes ranked her as the world’s 12th most influential woman. Also, the 44th most successful self-made woman in the United States. She earned a master’s degree in science from Harvard University.

    Gina Rinehart

    Gina Hope Hancock is a billionaire Australian businesswoman and the chairman of Hancock and Prospecting, which is expanding rapidly. For your information, her father, Lang Hancock, founded the corporation, and she was in charge of her late father’s bankrupt estate, which she remade into something grander. The Roy Hill Mining project, which began shipping to Asia in 2015, brought her the most money. Her net worth is USD 14.5 billion, making her Australia’s wealthiest person and the world’s 75th billionaire. Furthermore, according to Forbes 2019, she is the 36th most powerful woman in the world.

    Indra Nooyi

    Indra Nooyi is a former CEO of Pepsi and an Indian-American corporate leader who was named the world’s 11th most powerful woman in 2017. She earned a bachelor’s degree in art/science from Madras Christian College. She has a master’s degree in business administration from Yale School of Management. According to Wikipedia, she has been the head of PepsiCo’s worldwide strategy for more than a decade.

    Oprah Winfrey is the host of her talk show, which she has hosted for the past 25 years. She turned her role as a news anchor into a 25-year talk show position. Her earnings from the show were estimated to be in the billions of millions. In 2011, she was the host of the cable channel OWN. She owns 25.5 percent of the network, valued at $75 million. Later, she struck a partnership with Apple’s streaming platforms to create original content, including a book club, television shows, and documentaries. According to Forbes, she is the world’s 20th most powerful woman, with a net worth of 2.7 billion dollars. She’s also recognized as the 2019 10th American Self-Made Woman.

    Sara Blakely

    Sara Blakely is the creator and CEO of Spanx, a company that distributes leggings, women’s and men’s underwear. Also, maternity clothing, and other products in over 65 countries. She and Toney Ressler became co-owners of the Atlanta Hawks basketball franchise in 2015. Her true net worth is one billion dollars, making her the 23rd richest woman in the United States and the world’s 1941st billionaire. She was also named the 90th most powerful woman in the world in 2016. She graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree.

    Cher Wang

    Cher Wang is a philanthropist and businesswoman from Taiwan. She is the chairman and co-founder of HTC Corporation and VIA Technologies, a manufacturer of integrated chipsets. Also, Wang is regarded as one of the most powerful and successful female entrepreneurs in the technology industry. She received all of her education outside of the United States. Cher Wang graduated from Oakland Preparatory School and went on to the University of California to earn a bachelor’s degree in economics. She was named the world’s most powerful woman twice (2012, 2014). Additionally, she was featured on the World’s Billionaire list in 2010, 2011, and 2012. In fact, her net worth is estimated to be $1.1 billion, according to Wikipedia.

    Huda Kattan

    Huda Kattan began her beauty business after quitting her job in finance in Dubai. As a freelance makeup artist, she struggled to obtain good quality false eyelashes, so she decided to develop her own synthetic and faux minx lashes. Huda Beauty lashes sold out on the first day after becoming the new ‘it’ product for Kim Kardashian, making cosmetics queen Kattan a name to watch. Her beauty empire has since expanded to skincare, with the launch of her new Wishful line, which promotes natural, radiant skin.

    I know, this list doesn’t justify when we talk about the most inspirational and successful female entrepreneurs. There are many, many excellent female entrepreneurs around the world. This list is only the tip of the iceberg; yet, it should provide you with a solid overview of the world’s wealthiest and most successful businesswomen. It takes a lot of hard work and devotion to become an entrepreneur. But these inspiring women in business show that with the correct amount of enthusiasm and a lot of hard work and dedication, you, too, can develop your empire.
