Amidst the constant dodging of the third wave of covid and with nations preparing themselves into getting another lockdown, as the new covid variant omicron is surging across the globe. Meanwhile the middle east hub Dubai is preparing itself for a business boom.

Following the post-vaccination, Dubai has opened its gates for everyone who is vaccinated inviting tourists, ex-pats, influencers to invest in its business making the hospitality industry as busy as ever. The pubs, bars, restaurants are facing long-queue whereas hotel suites are getting over-booked.

According to Sese, a manager of a high-end restaurant, “we’re back and busy like the way things used to be”. The restaurant is famous for its exquisite and fancy brunches with a pocket-pinch of $250 per seating.

Dubai, being one of the leading countries in terms of its high vaccination rates along with government efforts to escalate business and be in diplomatic relations, de-boosting tensions with its neighboring nations, has seen a drastic effect in its economy, making it a boom phase.

Going maskless paves way for crowded dance floors, which are inviting party-revelers to soak themselves in.  Although the covid rates are spiking, making a comeback they remain way behind the peak stage, as per the previous Delta variant.

However, the Dubai authorities have not yet commented on this, the deja vu if recalling the frenzy of December final 12 months in Dubai, while the city witnessed travelers and influencers fleeing coronavirus lockdowns and wintry climate elsewhere. The open-visa gateway allowed revelers to state their pent-up preference to exit on New Year’s Eve however infections quickly rocketed to unseen heights, and hospitals crammed up with COVID-19 patients.

A 12 months later, mass vaccination has left Dubai feeling like it is off the hook. There were vanishingly few virus hospitalizations and deaths – whilst the worldwide unfold of Omicron threatens a brand new surge. Daily infections exceeded 1,000 on Thursday after lows of below a hundred for weeks.

While many Western international locations have visible inoculation prices plateau, the UAE reviews 99% of all of these eligible for vaccines – everyone over 12 – has acquired as a minimum one dose.
