“Today, the Department of Commerce is showing the power and scope of the steps we took over the past few months,” said Gina M. Raimondo.
“We will not allow Russian and Belarusian companies and individuals to travel freely in violation of our rules,”
“We are posting this list to tell the rest of the world”, the secretary of commerce stated.
Commercial and private jets flying to Russia and Belarus were banned by the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) on March 2.
