Peru Dazzles celebrated its National Day with color, taste, and culture at Expo 2020 Dubai, the world’s largest show.
The Commission for the Promotion of Peru Dazzles for Exports and Tourism (PROMPER) announced that
“There are numerous reasons to rejoice over Peru’s reunion with the UAE. Along with the Middle East, and the rest of the world. Today, March 7, our country enthralled the world with creative and folkloric performances that are part of our rich cultural history as well as humanity’s heritage.”
The festivities began with an official ceremony led by representatives from Expo Dubai and the Peruvian delegation. Led by Amora Carbajal, General Commissioner and executive president of PROMPER.
Held in the presence of authorities from various countries. A performance by Peru’s National Folk Ballet was the centerpiece of the festivities.
Meanwhile, the viewers were taken on a spectacular journey via the music and dances of the country’s coastal. Showcasing Andean, and Amazonian regions highlighting the multicultural identity.

Although the formal Peru Day celebrations have concluded, the Peruvian festive atmosphere will be felt throughout Dubai for the next few days.
The artistic performance “Wayra” will take place in the earth and sea stages of Dubai’s expo 2020.
The Peru Dazzles Pavilion will also continue to promote culture, biodiversity, and economic prospects in the export, tourist, and investment sectors.
Visitors will also be able to participate in Peruvian culinary masterclasses and tastings using appealing parts that are commercially attractive to the Arab market. Along with, the chance s sample the delicious pisco and high-quality Peruvian coffee.
“The Peru Pavilion has exceeded expectations, drawing over a million visitors, and will exhibit the most relevant aspects of Peruvian art and culture, as well as a wide array of the agricultural, fishery, textile, and diverse manufactured items, until March 31,” said PROMPER’s executive director.
Expo 2020 Dubai serves as a focal point for the global economic reactivation process and this international stage, which attracts more than a million visitors.
